– What are some highs and lows from this past week? What is something God has shown or taught you?

Read Ps 1 and Discuss the Following Questions:
1. Describe your understanding of walking in counsel … standing in way … sitting in seat/assembly of the world. Delight and meditation in the word.
2. What are some lessons we get from the analogy of the tree and the chaff? What are some motivations to the righteous? Warnings to the wicked?
3. What are some ways we get saturated by the world’s counsel, viewpoint? What are some of visible side effects to oversaturation by the world?
4. Describe a time in your life where God’s word was a consistent delight. More of a duty. Missing.
5. How can we increaseour delight & meditation in the word? How can we help each other grow in delight & meditation in the word?
6. What are some practical ways to begin to decrease our intake from the world and increase our joyful intake of the word?
7. What tangible step can you take to apply this passage to your life? When will you do it? Who will you tell/ask to help?
